The Hamda Taryam Foundation is funding the construction of a school complex in Jinja District, Kagaire village in Uganda.
The complex will consist of:
- A mosque
- A medical centre
- Eight classrooms
- Two dormitories
- A kitchen, dining hall, and store
- A school canteen
- A borehole
The Hamda Taryam Foundation school and Health complex will benefit the community in several ways:
Education:
The eight classrooms will provide a much-needed space for children to learn and grow, helping to improve literacy rates and prepare them for future opportunities.
Healthcare:
The medical center will provide access to basic healthcare services, which are often limited in rural areas. This will reduce the need for residents to travel long distances for treatment, saving time and money.
Community Support:
The mosque will serve as a place of worship and a gathering place for the community, strengthening social bonds and fostering a sense of unity. The dormitories will provide safe and affordable housing for students who live far from the school.
Social and Economic Development:
The kitchen, dining hall, and store will create employment opportunities and provide a space for people to gather and socialize. The school canteen will offer affordable meals to students and staff, reducing the financial burden on families.
Sustainable Development:
The borehole will provide a reliable source of clean water for the community, promoting good health and hygiene.
The total cost of the project is 401,626 AED.
