Early Childhood Development and Health Centers – County Government of Mombasa

The Hamda Taryam Foundation is proud to announce a collaborative initiative with the County Government of Mombasa, under the leadership of Governor H.E Abdulswamad Sheriff Nassir, and the Minister of Education, to enhance early childhood development and healthcare in Mombasa County.

The rapid population growth in Mombasa has led to a significant increase in young families and children, highlighting a pressing need for improved educational and healthcare facilities. Currently, many children are missing critical early education and health services essential for their development.

To address these needs, we are excited to support the County of Mombasa with the development of two model Early Childhood Development and Education (ECDE) schools and two health centers. These facilities will play a pivotal role in the community by providing:

Quality Education: 

The ECDE schools will offer high-quality early childhood education, ensuring a robust foundation for children's future learning and success.

Improved Health Outcomes:

The health centers will provide essential services, including regular health check-ups, immunizations, and nutritional support, promoting the well-being of children and families.

Community Development:

By addressing key educational and healthcare needs, we aim to strengthen the community through this project.
